Remove Toaster And Starting Over

So I can't get this to work, after spending about 14 hours straight on it.

I'm thinking my best bet at this point is to start over, because as I've tried to tweak options and rebuild via the toaster_setup.pl scripts, I think I've *messed* things up even worse. I'm trying to avoid blowing away my OS, as that would cost me a reimaging fee from the ISP.

Any suggestions or guidance on 'starting over'?

Also, I've decided it's worth paying the $75/hour to have someone install this if I can't get this going easily. Does anyone know how to get in contact w/the author? My email to him bounced.

Contact information is posted online in several locations. If your email to me bounces, verify you have typed it correctly. You might also try sending from a different mail server if the bounce indicated your IP is blacklisted.
