Cron gone crazy

Hello all,

I relocated a server on Friday and have been receiving the following cron complaint every five minutes:

WARNING! CheckPidFile: /var/run/toaster-watcher.pid is 0 seconds old and might still be running. If this is not the case, please remove it.

The problem is that their is not a toaster-watcher.pid in /var/run to remove and the toaster-watcher does not seem to be running.

I have removed the toaster-watcher job from crontab and even killed cron itself, but still receive this error EACH_AND_EVERY_FIVE MINUTES, ~sigh*

I have run the toaster-watcher manually which runs quickly and does not generate any complaints even in debug mode.

Any help or ideas where to look would be greatly appreciated.
