Hi Matt, first off congradulations on the toaster, seems like an excellent e-mail soloution.

Now I have just about managed to get it installed but every time I get some weird errors during at leaset one of the stages. I've been able to fix them by reinstalling certain applicaitons and using ports, etc but I'm now concerned that some fundemental part may be damaged.

My question to you is do you have a standard way of installing the toaster that you know works? You obviously set these up a lot so was wondering what process you go about e.g. what distributions you select and what you do before Step2 of the guide.

I've read every bit of documentation I can find on the toaster but still I get errors during install, hope you can comment as I really want t start using the toaster as my e-mail platform.

There are many ports that the toaster depends on. It's not uncommon for one of them have issues at any given point in time. Fix the issues and move along, that's the role of the sysadmin.
