Title: development stopped?

It was long time ago there was a release or talks. Maybe somebody done fork of it?

I'm not sure.
Usually, if you absolutely need a feature, it helps to pay Matt to write it.
It may or may not be released in a later public release.

Development hasn't 'stopped', but it's not active either, unless:

a. I need new functionality
b. Someone else needs new functionality and pays me to write it

There's no need to fork the code. If you want to add new features, by all means, code away. When you're done, submit patches. As long as you don't break anything, I'll accept the patches.
