Title: DNS Timeout
Post by: Nick Cockinos on December 20, 2004, 02:53:52 PM
Hi All,
Yay! i got it working! The only problem I'm now getting is that when I configure my PC to use either of the 2 new djb name servers, I get no response from them and dns queries timeout.

From my PC:
> server ns1.netunltd.com.au
Default Server:  ns1.netunltd.com.au
Address:  202.189.66.28

Server:  ns1.netunltd.com.au
Address:  202.189.66.28

DNS request timed out.
   timeout was 2 seconds.
DNS request timed out.
   timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Request to ns1.netunltd.com.au timed-out

From The Name Server itself:

mail# nslookup www.netunltd.com.au
Server:         127.0.0.1
Address:        127.0.0.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:   www.netunltd.com.au
Address: 202.189.66.8

How do I configure djbdns to listen on the real world address?

Nick
