Title: Sub Group Users
Post by: LogicX on December 07, 2004, 03:33:33 AM
Has anyone gotten subgroup users to work? (even be able to login?)
as far as I can tell it issues an incorrect SQL statement where it looks to see if the user is IN group 1 (they are not, they're in a different sub-group).

If not I'll probably end up figuring it out and submit a patch.

Users log into subgroups using user@subgroup.

This works quite well if you name the subgroups things like 'client.com', then bob@client.com logs in using his email address.

well -- that was an easy fix

thanks Matt -- very very nice.

I'm definitely in love with nictool.  Its going to save me sooo many administrative nightmares -- not to mention being able to do cool stuff now like write up code that draws IP usage/domain trees for boxes.
