bounce-no-mailbox bouncing all mail to domain

I've recently upgraded a year old installation of Mail::Toaster and on domains that have bounce-no-mailbox set, I'm seeing every e-mail bounced (5.1.1 error), even when it's a valid e-mail address.

I've set all the domains to delete for the time being (e-mail is delivered successfully to same address that bounced before the .qmail-default change), so that mail can get through. (I know simscan has to scan them before sending them to the void, but it's a low volume mail server and won't hurt anything for now)

Anyone have an idea on where I can start looking to find out why everything started bouncing after the upgrade?
