error when login

After a lot of try and error. I just make the NicTool running. but I still got a problem when log in. Here is th error in the http error log. "[Wed Jan 12 01:34:31 2005] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Can't locate object method "dir_config" via package "Apache::RequestRec" at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/SOAP/Transport/HTTP.pm line 509.\n
[Wed Jan 12 01:34:33 2005] [error] [client x.x.x.x] File does not exist: /usr/local/www/NicToolClient/htdocs/favicon.ico".
Is there snyone can help me to solve these problems?

Also, is there any default user for 1st time log in? Or, just type a new user name?

what version of mod_perl do you have installed?

also, this step:

should've prompted you for a password for the nictool root user, so the username is root, and password is whatever you specified.

I'm using mod_perl2-2.0.0r3 port for FreeBSD 5.3. and the patch SOAP::Lite and Apache::DBI. Also, I got the following error on the web.
SOAP: transport error: http://localhost:8082/soap:" target="_blank">http://localhost:8082/soap: 500 Internal Server Error
