queue inode numbers?

How many inodes does each message in the queue use? The qmail FAq says 'a couple' per message so Im guesstimating around 5?
Any other ideas for setting up the filesystem for ~vpopmail?

On our production server we usually run ~300 messages in the queue and  ~3GB/~20,000 files currently in the virtual domains.

inodes = 2, and sometimes 3 but the design point should be two.
