Title: Toaster Getting Clogged Up
Post by: btsteve on September 07, 2005, 09:41:37 AM
Everything has been working fine, and the other morning i found that my toaster was clogged with over 42000 messages in the queue. how can i track down where these are coming from, and get the toaster to discard them faster, 99.9% of it is spam.

It sounds like you got joe-jobbed. Use qqtool to manually clean up the queue, since almost certainly most of the messages are not deliverable.

Well everything finaly cleared up, but then it happened again on tuesday. when i looked in the queue there were 600 - 2000 messages at any given time. thimes cleared up finaly. many of the messages were from out server saying that the message could not be delivered. How do i find out what is going on. also when i reboot is when all of the message processing starts. if the queue is empty when i shutdown, and soon as i reboot the drives co crazy processing the mail
