The mail toaster appears to be very efficient when it comes to installing the mail system but the documentation for the administration of said system is somewhat lacking. For weeks now I've been trying to figure out why the root account; when sending messages regarding the daily run output sends from a domain which is unknown to me and so I've been trying to look for configuration and documentation anywhere and I've been unsuccessful. Are there any plans on working on documentation or at least pointing to places where we can get answers to questions?
I think I'm gonna have to remove the toaster and go with something like qmailrocks which seems to be a little bit more broken down.

What domain is it sending from? Wouldn't be 'example.com' by any chance?

nope, it was another one. The issue has actually been resolved by editing defaulthost and defaultdomain in /var/qmail/control and then restarting the services.
