I have qmail toaster installed, and now my server is over loaded, customers e-mails are getting bounced, and people are having problem sending mail. I need to disable everything except the essential options. how do i go about this without breaking my install. I am on FreeBDS 4.9, the previous version of Toaster.
can you post your system specs?
it might be easier to add some more memory or a faster proc than to hobble the Toaster.
If you have mail filtering installed, it will consume lots and lots of CPU and memory. How to disable it depends on how you enabled it. See this document:
