Title: vpopmail and clear passwd
Post by: qcx on October 11, 2004, 11:16:09 PM
I would like to view the passwords in clear text through vpopmail. Currently the passwords are encrypted.

How would I modify the toaster to enable this?

Thanks.

Are you sure?
use vpopmail;
select pw_name, pw_clear_passwd from vpopmail;

I don't recall modding the settings, so if this is the default, then you should already have the clear text passes.

If you have vqadmin setup it will display cleartext passwords by default. Its a nice interface for managing multiple domains.
