Post by: dscott on March 30, 2004, 06:41:50 PM
I'm unable to recieve email in my account, but can send messages through it.  When a message is received, this error is in the maillog
maildrop[946]: Unable to create log file.

ok, found the problem....

the log settings in /usr/local/etc/mail/mailfilter
were pointing to /var/log/mail/maildrop.log when it should have been /var/log/qmail/maildrop.log, not sure if thats a mistake on my pert or the way the script defaults

Actually, that's my fault, sort of.  I was testing using an alternate log location, and getting many, many mail toaster components to allow for that but there's obviously a few, such as mailfilter that haven't gotten caught yet.

It's fixed in 3.39.  Now I write the mailfilter file based on  your settings in toaster-watcher.conf.
