In my /var/log/maillog file I get error message that says:
"Mar 30 13:12:59 mail1 maildrop[469]: Unable to create log file."
I can not seem to figure out why this log file cannot be created. I also cannot receive email messages from anyone and I am not sure if they are related. Any help would be appreciated.

ok, found the problem....
the log settings in /usr/local/etc/mail/mailfilter
were pointing to /var/log/mail/maildrop.log when it should have been /var/log/qmail/maildrop.log, not sure if thats a mistake on my pert or the way the script defaults. Hope this helps you out, it solved my problem. Now i just need t figure out why razor is logging to /razor-agent.log
