How can I get a daily report of qmails activity?
The command that needs to be run is simply:
- maillogs yesterday
You can run this on the command line, you can set up a cron job, add it to your periodic files, or any of a number of other methods. I find the most convenient method is adding this line to /etc/mail/mailer.conf:
- mailq /usr/local/sbin/maillogs yesterday
If there's a different mailq command in there, comment it out.
If all else fails, simply run that command every morning. :)
